My Cooking With Kids Recipe Diary

The kids didn't get a chance to eat this, luckily because I'd added far too much cayenne. James won't get changed, won't get in the car, has to do everything the way he needs to. Jess asked him to do something and he said to her, 'I'm not impressed you know.' What on earth do you say to that?

But he is eating and eating well. I've taken to having a shorter lunch and picking James up from day care at 1.30 for his afternoon sleep. I get about 10 minutes with him and it is wonderful. I still give him his bottle, and have a midday cuddle. But I'm useless because I play with him on the way home and it makes it much harder to get him to sleep. I hate the part of parenting where you have to be consistent.
