Giving kids spicy food has to be done in very gradual phases but can be extremely interesting. Often they love the flavours when I thought they wouldn't, but you have to be careful of the heat.
Their fascination fascinates me; I've been more interested in everything and more experimental since my kids were born. I’ve even gotten to know Oxford better, the city I’ve lived near to for all of
the time that I’ve lived in England.
The part that is sometimes hardest is answering the 'Why?'
I promised myself very early on that I would always try to answer the 'Why?'
I’ve already broken that promise too many times. Jess has a much greater general knowledge than me so I’ll often pass questions to her. But the 'Why?' is actually a great and selfish reason for having kids. They make you more curious, make you think more, make you work harder. But it annoys me sometimes, makes me impatient, and occasionally makes me feel stupid.
